Local Deeds
Our commitment to our members, through our Local Deeds initiatives, allows Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union to support local events, civic and charitable organizations and educational opportunities throughout the communities we serve. Funding for Local Deeds is raised through a portion of member service fees, charitable donations, and employee contributions.
It’s our belief that supporting and giving back to our communities helps build good places to live, work, play and raise our families. Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union is dedicated to partnering with our members to support local opportunities that will improve and enrich the lives of our members and our communities.

Local Deeds Sponsorship Request
Tampa Bay Federal is happy to support local organizations, groups, and events with donations and sponsorships that help enrich the community through our Local Deeds initiative. Our contributions include employee volunteers, monetary donations and other sponsorships.
Requests for sponsorship will be considered by how well the request aligns with the initiatives of Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union with preference given to our Select Employer Groups and members.
Eligibility Guidelines:
- Event/Organization must be located in a geographical location served by Tampa Bay Federal
- Request submitted through online application (below) at least six weeks prior to the event
These guidelines do not cover every possibility, special need or opportunity, and exceptions may be made while considering the purpose for making donations.

Local Deeds Financial Education Request
Tampa Bay Federal recognizes financial education plays an important role in helping people to achieve their financial goals. Financial Literacy services support both the Credit Union Philosophy (People Helping People) and Tampa Bay Federal's mission (Serving Members' Changing Financial Needs... With Pleasure).
Through our Local Deeds initiative, we offer our Financial Fitness program to local schools, businesses, and other organizations. Members of our staff are available to present on a variety of financial topics designed to engage and educate groups of different ages and sizes.
